District & State-Level Success

  • Became one of the best Kabaddi teams in the district by 1976, winning the District Championship.

  • Produced multiple players who excelled at district, state, and inter-state levels from 1975 to 1990, winning the majority of trophies during this golden era.

National-Level Recognition

  • In 1978, two village players represented the prestigious Bangalore G.B.K.C team, founded by a retired village player who represented Karnataka for six consecutive years.

  • Participated in the All India B Division Kabaddi Tournament in Maharashtra (1978) and won the Rotational Gold Cup.

Major Tournaments Hosted

  • Successfully celebrated Silver Jubilee and Golden Jubilee by hosting:

    • State-level Kabaddi tournaments

    • South India-level tournaments for both men and women

  • Organized uninterrupted Kabaddi tournaments for over 60 years, including Republic Day events promoting Unity, Diversity, and Nationalism.

Legacy & Community Impact

  • Built a strong village sports culture sustained by multiple generations of players and volunteers.

  • Expanded goals beyond Kabaddi to promote other sports and community welfare activities.
